Student Success

At New Direction we look to create individualised targets for students education based on what they want to achieve and their aspirations for life after New Direction. Some students want to move to apprenticeships and others want further study, either with us or at a college. We look to explore this through the ASDAN Employability course we run along

In 2020-2021 we had 3 students finishing year 11, one went to college, another onto an apprenticeship and the other stayed to do further studies with us.

In 2021-22 we didn’t have any Year 11 students however in 2022-2023 we had 4 students in Year 11, two are going to College, another is moving onto an Apprenticeship, another is staying with us for Post 16.
